How to Reset a Forgotten Cpanel Login Password
We've all done it. It's been a while since logging in to Cpanel and now you can't remember your password!
Don't worry, it's simple to reset your password. Just follow these simple steps:
Firstly, go to your normal CPanel logon page, eg www.yourdomain.com.au/cpanel -Click on the "Reset Password" option
Enter your recovery email address which typically is the email address you supplied when you first joined Hostcake. A hint about the email address will be displayed.
Click "Send Recovery Code" - this sends a 10 digit code to your email address. Enter that code into the Password Recovery window.
You can then either type in a new Cpanel password for yourself or let the Generate Password tool create one for you.
And that's it! You have regenerated your Cpanel password all by yourself!
